Newsletter 23
Hello and welcome to the WGU newsletter #23!
Judgment day is near!!
That's right, the new WGU website which contains exclusive info
on the WGU game project is scheduled to launch tomorrow on the
31st of August. Months of hard work (including an all night html
session last night by yours truly) are about to pay off. No longer will
the WGU project be lumped in with all of the make-believe game projects
out there. When the site launches you will finally see proof that
we are very much for real.
Even though the WGU project is in it's very early stages we are
still able to share content with our supporters that no other
game developer would have the guts to do. You'll get to see how
the game is being produced from the ground up including character
sketches, 3D models and arenas in progress, and the very animation
tests that got the WGU animators hired.
Naturally, we understand the value of a good suprise so we'll be
dishing out the media bit by bit as the game progresses. Be sure to
check back every week for new updates and information including a
weekly question and answer column.
A huge thank you goes out to all the fans who have supported the
WGU and contributed in so many ways. Our game is a reflection of
your wants and wishes. A game by the fans, for the fans.
An even bigger thank you goes
out to the WGU crew who have stuck by the project through good times
and not-so-good-but-still-worth-the-risk times. I urge all of you
gamers out there to read all about the WGU crew when you check out
the new site and find the time to email them your thanks. Without
them we're all just dreamers. They're the ones bringing our baby
to life and they deserve every ounce of attention this project will
bring them.
A lot of exciting features will soon be added to the site that you
won't want to miss including a chance for one lucky WGU supporter to
design a wrestler for the game's roster.
There was one more thing I wanted to mention. Let's see, what could
it be...oh yes, I remember...
The new WGU site is up now!!
One day ahead of schedule!

Once again, thank you. I'm tired, burnt out, and poorer than when
I started. And it will all be worth it in the end :)
