Honestly, Tim Schaefer and Double Fine are the Tim Burton of video games. Doesn't even look like my kind of game and I'll still play it just cause Double Fine put it out.....their last couple of games have been GREAT!

I had friends who were either unwilling or too cheap to pay to play opponents online, so they opted for the PS3. As a result, so did I. I have to say both the 360 Slim and the PS3 slim are fine machines. I just happen to play the PS3 more these days. If anyone is looking to play the two original Abe games, the psx ones, they are available on steam for 9.99 as a set. Can't find anything about plans to bring Munch and Stranger to the service, but I wouldn't rule it out. If you are worried about the controls, if you have an old wired 360 controller you can use that on your pc.

I'm getting ready to go to the office, but I'm happy about it. A guy in another department has a TV along with an NES and original Xbox in his office. I was in there the other day and said "You ever play a game called 'Stranger's Wrath'? He went to his stack of games and said "This one?" Oh my god!!!! I told him I haven't played it in years, and recently almost bought an original Xbox just to play it. He said that I'm welcome to come in on off hours and play, so I'm going to the office to play videogames. And this happened before the PS3 announcement was made. Munch would be proud!  I still have my Halo-Edition Xbox I bought in '04 and an original copy of Munch's Oddysee. Got to buy another switchbox so I can hook the 'Box up again and play Oddysee from the beginning. Like the big dummy I am, I stupidly traded in Stranger's Wrath at GS and have sorely regretted it ever since.... Bob  |
